JP Jahan was founded in 2008 by Dr. Jonathan Pascoe Pratt. Jonathan trained in the Print Department at Sotheby's, becoming the Head of the Department for Europe, based in London.
After 26 years, Jonathan left Sotheby's as a Senior Director to complete his PhD at the Courtauld Institute, London. On completion of his doctorate he was guest curator at the Museum Langmatt, Baden, Switzerland and contributing author to publications by The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Musée d'Orsay, Paris and Picasso Museum, Malaga.
