Ray Waterhouse and Jonathan Dodd started working together as art dealers in 1982 and they formed Waterhouse & Dodd five years later. After 30 years of international dealing Waterhouse & Dodd has galleries in both London and New York, and an office in Paris.

In London we opened our impressive ground floor gallery on 47 Albemarle Street in Mayfair in 2013. This space is dedicated to exhibiting and dealing in Impressionist, Modern and Contemporary art with a team managed by Jonathan Dodd. We also have works on view at our second gallery space in London at 16 Savile Row, but this 2nd floor space is dedicated more to client advisory services.

Waterhouse & Dodd opened a gallery in New York in 2010, and are now based on the Upper East Side at 15, East 76th Street where we have a gallery exhibiting Impressionist, Modern and Contemporary Art. This is also the US base for Fine Art Brokers, our art advisory service. Ray Waterhouse has relocated to New York and runs this space with the support of the team there.

Waterhouse & Dodd has mounted some major exhibitions in their galleries, from Impressionist paintings to Contemporary European, American and also Middle Eastern and Arab art, and exhibit at some of the most important art fairs in the world, including TEFAF in Maastricht. As well as publishing various exhibition catalogues each year, our newsletter The Fine Art File is now up to issue 42.

During the 1990s we became more involved in offering professional advice to collectors, a service that has become one of the most respected art advisory services in the world, Fine Art Brokers.
