As well as several fine and early impressions around Géricault’s favorite themes of horses and military subjects, our display features an unrecorded early pen lithograph and some illustrations of Byron’s poems. A portrait of the artist by his friend and colleague Léon Cogniet offers the perfect addition to our exhibition.
