Hollybush Gardens was founded in 2005 by Lisa Panting and Malin Ståhl.

The gallery occupies a building in Clerkenwell, London and supports an international array of artists. Representing diverse voices and disciplines, Hollybush Gardens remains committed to sustaining the complexity of progressive practices, contributing to the production of related discourse as well as offsite projects and events. Hollybush Gardens’ critical engagement includes an experimental curatorial programme, affirming the generative potential of the gallery space and the diversity of artistic practice. Alongside the exhibition programme, Hollybush Gardens produces exhibition publications, online content, talks, performances and events.
