Born from a passion for Old Master paintings and works of art, the Piacenti Fine Art has its roots in the art world in 1875.
Four generations later, and following the focus of their father Stefano, Emanuele and Leonardo Piacenti specialize in European paintings and sculpture from the fourteenth to the nineteenth centuries. They have promoted and supported, through loans and exhibitions, major international institutions such as Palazzo Strozzi Foundation, Florence; Museum of Fine Arts, Ghent; Museu de Arte, Sao Paulo; Museum of Capodimonte, Naples; Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga, Lisboa; Uffizi Gallery, Florence. Participation over many years in major Fairs has enabled the Piacenti Fine Art to establish long-standing relationships with collectors, museums, and lovers of art worldwide.
