Specialising in Pre-Raphaelite, Victorian, Romantic, and Modern British pictures.
Rupert Maas was born in 1960, the same year the gallery in Mayfair, London was founded by his father Jeremy Maas. Following the death of his father in 1996, Rupert Maas runs the Gallery, which remains family-owned and deals in Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite, Romantic and Modern British art. Since 1995, Rupert has made regular appearances on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow as a picture expert. In 2020 The Maas Gallery moved to a larger space in St James’s, London, where we are now. We have regular exhibitions and show at TEFAF Maastricht each year.
